Honest Jon's has spent the last 18 months delving through more than 150,000 78 rpm records and the results of this trawl can be heard on the Hayes Archive series – an epic 12 albums covering early recordings of music from Iraq, Turkey, Caucasia, the Lebanon, Greece, Iran, Egypt and the Belgian Congo.
Now the series continues with part 3, ‘Sprigs Of Time - 78s From The EMI Archive’, which is being released on 21 July.
