Atomic Kitten Live Web-Chat!
Hi girls, you've been at CD-UK before this, can you tell us a little bit about what you have been up to down there? Jenny: Rehearsals for tomorrows show.
Tash: For a medley of are songs we have got 'Be With You', 'It's OK' and 'Feels so Good' from the album, we are doing it with dancers, party poppers everywhere and it's gonna be loads of fun!
Jenny: Who has put the chewy on the table?
Liz: Oh sorry, I did wrap it up in some paper!
'Love Doesn't Have to Hurt' is the new single and is out this week, do you know how well it is doing in the charts? Tash: Mid-week it has gone in at number three, (big applause from audience) so thank you to everyone who bought it.
Jenny: It's the highest new entry this week, the only other singles above us is Gareth Gates with the comic relief song, it's for charity so I'll let him off. Number one is that wicked dance tune by Room 5 which we love so we will let them off, if we get beaten by someone that we don't like we aren't very happy.
The video for the single looks amazing, quite an L.A style to it. Is that the new Atomic Kitten? Jenny: You know what it's all just pretend it's not really what you think it is. The apartment looks like it's in some exotic apartment but it was actually made out of polystyrene.
Jenny: and it was done in Perry Vale, London.
Tash: and the floor wasn't actually wood it was a paint affect!
Liz: You saw us in those really light clothes thinking we were really hot but in fact we were absolutely freezing!
Tash: I sat on that sofa for about five hours, it was a nightmare.
Is this going to be the last single off the album? Tash: Yes, we have started to write our third album now with Gary Barlow (Liz: he is lovely) and a couple of other people and it should be out in September.
Jenny: All very exciting.
So you must be working pretty hard at the moment? Tash: Yes we do all the time but it's worth it.
We had so many questions come in from around the world saying when are you coming to Belgium, China, Thailand and so on. Can you put us in the picture of were you will be in the next few months? Tash: We have just been to Singapore and Thailand we are also going to Europe, going over to the States, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand so we are very busy this year
Liz: and I think we are going to get a holiday in there somewhere. So we are trying to get over to most places.
